The City of Greater Bendigo hired Craig in 2011 to create and install this iconic statue of a caped theatre goer to be the new face of Bath Lane. The mask, top hat and program represent the theatre that used to exist, and the pig represents the livestock building that used to be in the lane. It has fast become a well known meeting place and talking point for the city.

Methods and materials for these types of pieces include carving foam and providing surface protection with spray polyurethane or Expoy resin. These pieces are examples of the huge range of projects that we have completed. While most of our work are one-off pieces, we can easily produce multiples of a product.

The brief was to design the panels to show a range of sports people in action. As you can see the result was a dynamic and exciting entrance into the bar.
